The two worship spaces each set the tone for worship at First Church. The Great Heritage traditional service is held in the sanctuary on the main floor of the building. The Chancel Choir and organ lead the music and congregational singing uses the hymnal. Often worship music is augmented by other groups such as bells, vocal or instrumental soloists, or liturgical dancers.
The Bridge contemporary service is held in the fellowship hall in the basement in an informal gathering with round tables. Snacks are provided. The music is lead by the praise band. Congregational singing uses a screen. The sermon is the same in both services. And there is a special children's time in both services.

The foundation of this school is a child-centered program in an atmosphere of love, fundamental to learning in a Christian setting. Each child is unique, a child of God. In this light, it is essential that the parents and teachers work together in a sincere effort to understand each child as they strive to help each one meet his own goals, and to help him or her grow from dependency toward a happy, self-directing, responsible, contributing member of society.

We work on numbers, colors and shapes, letters, math, rhyming, opposites and more.
Each month the students will learn a different color and shape. One day a month kids can wear that color for ‘color day.”
We work on 2-3 letters a month. The 4 & 5 year old classes learn Zoophonics. They work on upper and lower case letters and the sound it makes, just like the local schools.
We plan at least 6-7 field trips and guest speakers for our 4 yr old classes a year.
We have different themes each week and our lesson plans and centers are based on these themes.
The curriculum of the school will be unique for each group of children. It will be determined with specific needs of a group in order to meet each child’s individual developmental needs at hand. There will be learning experiences in art, music, numbers, language, nature and science, dramatic play, social studies, as well as Christian living in a balance of quiet and active play, individual and group learning and directed and free choice of activity. Featured are many first-hand experiences in nature and science, food preparation and community exploration.
